Create a RAMS
Add a new RAMS to your project workspace by creating a lifecycle item of the RAMS type, ready to be detailed, linked to a package and assessed.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the project workspace
Go to the workspace for your project, where you add and manage lifecycle items.
Step 2: Start a new workspace item
Begin adding a new item to the workspace.
RAMS are workspace items, so they are created in the same place as other lifecycle items — see "Add a workspace item" for the underlying steps.
Step 3: Choose the RAMS type
Select RAMS as the item's lifecycle type so it follows the RAMS lifecycle and shows the RAMS-specific sections.
Step 4: Enter the RAMS details
Give the RAMS a clear title or reference and record its key details so it can be identified and tracked.
Step 5: Save the RAMS
Save to add the RAMS to the workspace. It now appears in the register, where you can edit it, link it to a package and run a RAMS assessment.
