Correct a form you've already submitted
Fix a mistake on a submitted form and leave a note explaining what changed and why — so there's a clear record of the correction.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the amend screen
From the submission you want to fix, select the option to amend it. This opens the current answers so you can see what's there before you start editing.

Step 2: Check the existing answers
Look through the answers already on record and work out exactly what needs changing.

Step 3: Choose how you want to edit it
Pick form mode to change answers field by field using normal boxes and dropdowns, or JSON mode to edit the raw data directly if the change is more complex.

Step 4: Make your changes in form mode
Update the fields that need correcting using the boxes, dropdowns, or other controls provided.

Step 5: Make your changes in JSON mode
Edit only the values that need to change, and keep the structure intact so the system can accept your update.

Step 6: Explain the change
Write a short note saying what you've changed and why. This keeps a clear record of the correction for anyone checking later.

Step 7: Save the correction
Submit your changes. They're checked and saved, and the submission is updated to reflect the correction.
