Edit form template details

Update the name, description, category and tags for an existing form template so it stays accurate and easy to find.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the edit form template dialog

From the templates list, select the template you want to change and choose the option to edit it; the “Edit Form Template” dialog opens with the current details pre-filled.

Step 2: Update the template name

In the “Name” field, enter the new name for the form template; this field is required and must not be left blank.

Step 3: Change the template description

In the description field, review and update the text to briefly explain what the template is for, or clear it if no description is needed.

Step 4: Adjust the report category

Use the category dropdown to choose the most appropriate report category, or select the option that indicates no category if you prefer not to assign one.

Step 5: Edit template tags

In the tags field, add, remove, or change tags as needed, separating each tag with a comma so the template can be filtered and searched more easily.

Step 6: Save the updated template

Confirm that all required information is complete, then select the save or update action; the system saves your changes, shows a confirmation message, and closes the dialog.
