Issue a form to people inside or outside the project

Use this dialog to issue a form instance from a chosen template, either to a specific person or as a shareable link that anyone can use.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Issue Form dialog

Open the dialog from the project where you want to issue a form so you can configure who it will go to and how it will be accessed.

Step 2: Choose a form template

Select the form template you want to use; the system loads available templates for the current project so you can pick the right one.

Step 3: Select a form version

Choose which version of the template to issue, or keep the default “latest” so the newest version is used for submissions.

Step 4: Choose how the form can be used

Pick the instance type—Assigned, Open Link, or Anonymous—to control whether the form is issued to one person, anyone with a link, or anonymous respondents.

Step 5: Select recipient type (internal vs external)

Decide whether the recipient is an internal project member (from the project team list) or an external person, so the dialog shows the appropriate recipient options.

Step 6: Enter or select the recipient

For internal recipients, choose a user from the project membership list; for external recipients, type their name and email so they can receive the form.

Step 7: Issue the form

Confirm and issue the form; the system creates a new form instance with your chosen settings and returns it so you can share or track it.
