Configure and run an AI data assistant task
Use the AI Data Assistant to configure task inputs, upload supporting files and run an AI-driven task for the selected agent.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the AI Data Assistant for your agent
Navigate to the AI Data Assistant screen for the relevant agent from your project or agent overview so you can review the task description and available input fields.

Step 2: Review the task schema and required inputs
Check the task name, description and list of fields, noting which inputs are required, what each field is for and any default values that are already populated.

Step 3: Enter text and numeric field values
Fill in all required text, number, date or option fields, providing the project-specific details the assistant needs to run the task correctly.

Step 4: Upload any required files
Use the file upload areas to drag and drop or browse for documents, images or other supported files, then confirm each file appears in the list with its name and size.

Step 5: Adjust advanced or optional settings
If advanced or optional fields are available, review and update them as needed to fine-tune how the AI assistant will process your data.

Step 6: Submit the task to the AI assistant
Click the submit button to send all field values and uploaded files to the AI Data Assistant, and wait for the confirmation that the task has started successfully.

Step 7: Review submission status and handle any errors
Check the on-screen status or toast messages; if an error is shown, correct the highlighted fields or replace any problematic files and submit the task again.
