Use the AI Data Assistant to run data tasks on project documents
Use the AI Data Assistant to choose an AI agent task, complete any required inputs, and run it against selected project documents.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the AI Data Assistant panel
With your project open, expand the AI Data Assistant panel so you can see the list of available AI tasks that can run on your selected documents.

Step 2: Select documents to analyse
Choose one or more project documents (for example from the document list or detail view) so that the assistant can pre-fill any document-related fields and limit the task to those items.

Step 3: Choose an AI agent task
From the list of task options, select the AI agent and task that best matches what you want to achieve, such as extracting data or summarising content; this highlights the option and loads its input form.

Step 4: Review and complete task input fields
In the task form, review any pre-filled values, fill in required fields (such as dates, descriptions, or configuration options), and correct any validation errors shown next to the fields.

Step 5: Submit the task to run on your documents
Select the submit or run button to start the AI task; the assistant validates your inputs, shows loading status while submitting, and then confirms that the task has been created or flags any errors that need fixing.

Step 6: Open the created AI task for more details
After successful submission, follow any provided link or navigation to the task details page to monitor progress, review outputs, and continue working with the AI-generated data.
