Review and update document details
Use the document detail panel to review document metadata, check processing status, and update key fields such as type and status, while keeping the team informed through comments.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the document detail panel
In the project’s document list, select a document to open its detail panel on the right-hand side of the screen, showing its summary, status, and metadata.

Step 2: Review document status and processing information
At the top of the panel, check the document’s current status, processing state, and any associated icons to understand whether it has been processed, is pending, or needs attention.

Step 3: Check document type and key metadata
Review the document type, title, and other key attributes displayed in the panel header and metadata section to confirm they match the actual document.

Step 4: Edit document type and status
Click the edit controls next to the document’s type or status, choose the appropriate values from the dropdown options, and confirm your changes.

Step 5: Save changes to the document
After updating any fields, select the save option in the panel to apply your changes, then wait for the confirmation that the document has been updated.

Step 6: Move the document to pending
If required, use the Move to pending action in the panel to set the document’s status as pending so it can be reviewed or processed later.

Step 7: Download and preview document files
Use the download or preview controls within the panel to open or save the current document file for closer inspection outside the application.

Step 8: View existing comments and activity
Scroll to the comments section to review previous messages, including timestamps and author avatars, to understand the discussion and history of the document.

Step 9: Add a new comment for your team
Type your message into the comment text area at the bottom of the panel and select the send button to share feedback or instructions with project members.

Step 10: Close or resize the detail panel
Use the close icon to hide the panel when finished, or the expand/collapse control to adjust the panel width while you continue working in the main project view.
