Review drawing comparison summary
Use the comparison summary panel to understand key differences between two drawing revisions and focus on the most impactful changes.

Steps
Step 1: Open the drawing comparison view
Navigate to the unified document view where the original and comparison drawings are displayed side by side with the comparison tools panel visible.
Step 2: Confirm the original and revised drawings
At the top of the summary panel, check the original drawing number and revision on the left and the comparison drawing number and revision on the right, linked by an arrow showing the total number of detected changes.
Step 3: Review the overall comparison summary
Read the high-level summary text describing what has changed between the two revisions, including any highlighted impact or risk indicators.
Step 4: Scan the ranked list of changes
In the change list, review each item’s description, impact rating and any cost effect badges, noting that items are ordered from highest to lowest impact.
Step 5: Focus on a specific change in the drawing
Click a change that shows it is selectable to highlight it in the list and automatically focus the corresponding bounding box region in the drawing viewer.
Step 6: Clear the focused change
Click the already highlighted change again or use any provided clear option in the list to remove the focus and return the viewer to its default state.
