Review and export material quantity changes
Use the material quantities panel to review assessed quantity changes on a drawing, highlight corresponding areas, and export the data for further analysis.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the material quantities panel
Navigate to the drawing comparison view and open the Material quantities panel to see a structured list of quantity changes grouped by material category.

Step 2: Review quantity changes by category
Browse the grouped list of materials, using the category headings (such as Concrete, Reinforcement or Structural steel) and change types (Added, Removed, Modified) to understand what has changed between drawing revisions.

Step 3: Highlight an item on the drawing
Select a row in the material list to highlight the corresponding bounding box on the drawing, helping you visually locate where that material change occurs.

Step 4: Run an on-demand quantity assessment
If the latest quantities are not yet available, use the Assess quantities action to trigger an updated assessment and wait while the system processes the comparison.

Step 5: Copy quantities as CSV to the clipboard
Use the Copy CSV option to copy all listed material quantities into your clipboard in CSV format, ready to paste into spreadsheets, emails or reports.

Step 6: Download quantities as a CSV file
Use the Download CSV option to save the material quantities as a CSV file, with a filename that includes the drawing number and revision for easy reference.

Step 7: Check status messages and warnings
Review any status messages, warnings or error alerts shown in the panel to understand if the assessment has timed out, needs to be retried or completed with issues.
