Analyse employee intelligent usage (IU)

Review and interpret employee intelligent usage (IU) data to understand contribution, attribution, and time savings across your team.

Steps

Step 1: Open the employee usage analytics view

Navigate to the employee usage analytics section of the reporting area to see a breakdown of IU by individual team member, including any unattributed usage grouped into a separate bucket.

Step 2: Review ranked employee IU contribution

Examine the ranked list of employees ordered by their total IU in descending order to quickly identify who is contributing the most usage within the selected period.

Step 3: Check each employee’s percentage of total IU

For key employees, review the percentage of total IU they represent to understand their relative contribution compared with the rest of the team.

Step 4: Inspect unattributed IU usage

Scroll to the bottom of the list to review the dedicated unattributed IU bucket, which consolidates usage that cannot be matched to a specific employee and is always pinned last.

Step 5: Confirm employee identification and naming

Verify that employee entries use the correct resolved names where available, and note that any unresolved users will fall back to their raw identifier so you can follow up if needed.

Step 6: Evaluate hours saved where available

When hours-saved metrics are provided, review the hours saved per employee to understand which users and activities are delivering the highest productivity impact.

Step 7: Validate data completeness and gaps

Use the presence of unattributed IU and any missing hours-saved values to identify gaps in tracking or configuration and plan follow-up actions with your technical team.
