Analyse employee intelligent usage (IU)
Review and interpret employee intelligent usage (IU) data to understand contribution, attribution, and time savings across your team.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the employee usage analytics view
Navigate to the employee usage analytics section of the reporting area to see a breakdown of IU by individual team member, including any unattributed usage grouped into a separate bucket.

Step 2: Review ranked employee IU contribution
Examine the ranked list of employees ordered by their total IU in descending order to quickly identify who is contributing the most usage within the selected period.

Step 3: Check each employee’s percentage of total IU
For key employees, review the percentage of total IU they represent to understand their relative contribution compared with the rest of the team.

Step 4: Inspect unattributed IU usage
Scroll to the bottom of the list to review the dedicated unattributed IU bucket, which consolidates usage that cannot be matched to a specific employee and is always pinned last.

Step 5: Confirm employee identification and naming
Verify that employee entries use the correct resolved names where available, and note that any unresolved users will fall back to their raw identifier so you can follow up if needed.

Step 6: Evaluate hours saved where available
When hours-saved metrics are provided, review the hours saved per employee to understand which users and activities are delivering the highest productivity impact.

Step 7: Validate data completeness and gaps
Use the presence of unattributed IU and any missing hours-saved values to identify gaps in tracking or configuration and plan follow-up actions with your technical team.
