Review and decide on an RFI answer
Review an answered RFI from an external party and either accept the response or request more detail so the RFI can progress.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the RFI and review the submitted answer
Navigate to the relevant RFI in your project and scroll to the review hold point banner to read the submitted answer, including any marked-up drawings and submission details.

Step 2: Check submission details and attachments
Review the submission metadata such as who responded, when they replied, and any attached files, downloading documents where necessary to verify the information.

Step 3: Decide to accept the answer
If the response fully resolves the query, select the accept option; this records your decision and moves the RFI to the closed stage in the workflow.

Step 4: Ask for more detail and request resubmission
If the response is incomplete or unclear, choose to ask for more detail; this triggers a resubmission request and moves the RFI back to under review so the responder can update their answer.
