Browse and filter project documents
Use the unified documents view to browse all project documents, apply powerful filters, and switch between grid and table layouts.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the unified documents view
Navigate to the Data section for your project to open the Unified documents view, which shows all available documents in a single place.

Step 2: Review document list and layout
Use the main document area to scan the list or grid of documents, seeing key details such as title, type, status, and source at a glance.

Step 3: Use quick search
Enter a keyword in the search field at the top of the view to quickly narrow down the list of documents by name or related metadata.

Step 4: Apply filter presets
Click one of the preset filter chips (for example common status or source filters) to instantly refine the list without configuring advanced options.

Step 5: Adjust detailed filters
Open the filters panel or chip bar to combine multiple filters such as document status, type, or connection, and then review the updated results.

Step 6: Switch between grid and table layouts
Use the layout toggle buttons to change between a card-based grid view and a detailed table view, depending on whether you prefer visual or tabular information.

Step 7: Check CDE connection status
Refer to the CDE connection indicator in the header to confirm if your project is currently connected to external data environments that may supply documents.

Step 8: Refresh the documents list
Click the refresh control in the header to pull the latest documents and updates from all connected sources into the unified view.
