View register charts in a document

Review live register charts directly inside a document so the visual matches the dashboard view.

Steps

Step 1: Open the document containing the register chart

Navigate to the document viewer and open the document that includes a chart-layout register block so the chart area is visible in context.

Step 2: Locate the chart block in the document

Scroll through the document until you reach the embedded chart block, which displays grouped values with labels and coloured status tones.

Step 3: Compare the document chart with the dashboard

Visually compare the chart shown in the document with the same chart on the dashboard to confirm that the type, group labels, and status colours match.

Step 4: Refresh the chart data from the register

Use the document viewer's refresh option for the chart block to pull a fresh snapshot from the register so the chart redraws with the latest data.

Step 5: Review updated chart values and tones

Check that the refreshed chart shows updated numbers, labels, and tones (critical, warning, neutral, ok) in line with the current register status.
