View register charts in a document

Review live register charts directly inside a document so the visual matches the dashboard view.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the document containing the register chart​

Navigate to the document viewer and open the document that includes a chart-layout register block so the chart area is visible in context.

Step 2: Locate the chart block in the document​

Scroll through the document until you reach the embedded chart block, which displays grouped values with labels and coloured status tones.

Step 3: Compare the document chart with the dashboard​

Visually compare the chart shown in the document with the same chart on the dashboard to confirm that the type, group labels, and status colours match.

Step 4: Refresh the chart data from the register​

Use the document viewer's refresh option for the chart block to pull a fresh snapshot from the register so the chart redraws with the latest data.

Step 5: Review updated chart values and tones​

Check that the refreshed chart shows updated numbers, labels, and tones (critical, warning, neutral, ok) in line with the current register status.
