Navigate document details using tabs
Use the document detail tab bar to switch between different views such as content, connections, versions, comments and other source-specific panels.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open a document with the detail view
Open a document from the documents list so that the unified document detail view loads, showing the tab bar near the top of the page.

Step 2: Review the Content tab
Select the Content tab to view the main body of the document, including its latest text and any embedded information.

Step 3: Check AI-backed Actions (when available)
If an Actions tab with a sparkles icon is visible, select it to access AI-backed report action suggestions related to the document.

Step 4: Explore CDE Info for synced documents
For documents synced from a CDE, select the CDE Info tab to review source-specific metadata and synchronisation details.

Step 5: Review document Connections
Select the Connections tab to see how the document is linked to other items such as related documents, issues or packages.

Step 6: Track Versions history
Select the Versions tab to review previous versions of the document, compare changes and understand its revision history.

Step 7: Manage Comments and feedback
Select the Comments tab to read, add and respond to feedback left by your team on the document.

Step 8: Configure Distribution for generated documents
For generated virtual documents, select the Distribution tab to review or adjust who receives each version of the document.

Step 9: Switch between tabs using keyboard
Use the keyboard to move focus to the tab bar and switch between tabs; inactive panels are hidden while the active tab's content remains accessible.
