Review document details and manage comments in split view
Use the split-view document detail screen to review content, check versions and connections, and collaborate through comments.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open a document in split view
From the document list, select a document to open it in the split-view layout, showing the mini list on the left and detailed information on the right.

Step 2: Navigate between documents in the mini list
Use the mini document list on the left and the previous/next controls to switch quickly between related documents without leaving the split view.

Step 3: Review document status and source details
In the header of the detail pane, review the document title, status badge, source badge and key metadata such as author, dates and extraction state.

Step 4: View and explore document content
In the Content tab, read the full document content, including any rendered HTML or formatted text, and scroll to inspect all pages or sections.

Step 5: Check connections to other project items
Open the Connections tab to see how this document links to other documents, virtual documents or project entities, helping you understand its context.

Step 6: Review versions and revision history
In the Versions tab, review the revision chain, select a previous revision, and use the download action to retrieve a specific version if needed.

Step 7: Inspect AI reports and exported analyses
Where available, view generated reports, including extracted insights or AI-assisted summaries, and export them to PDF for sharing outside the system.

Step 8: Adjust document tags and metadata
Use the tags editor to add, remove or update tags and related metadata, then save your changes so the document is easier to find and filter.

Step 9: Add a new comment to the document
Open the Comments tab, enter your feedback or questions in the comment box, and select send to post your comment for the team.

Step 10: Reply to and manage existing comments
Read existing comments in the thread, reply where clarification is needed, and use available actions to keep the discussion focused and up to date.

Step 11: Save and share updated reports or notes
When you make changes to a report or notes linked to the document, use the save and share actions to update the stored report and notify collaborators.
