Create and edit a document template
Use Template Studio to create, update and preview project document templates with custom sections.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open Template Studio
From your project workspace, open Template Studio to start working on a new or existing document template. If you open an existing template, its name and sections are loaded automatically.

Step 2: Name your template
Enter a clear, descriptive name for your template in the template name field so it can be easily identified and reused across projects.

Step 3: Review and select sections
Use the section list to review the default sections such as Introduction, Main Content and Conclusion, then click a section title to select it for editing.

Step 4: Edit section content
In the content editor, update the text for the selected section to match your project requirements; changes are tracked as unsaved until you save.

Step 5: Add a new section
Select the add section button (with the plus icon) to create a new template section, then give it a title and content so it appears alongside your other sections.

Step 6: Delete an unwanted section
Use the delete icon next to a section to remove it from the template; confirm the deletion when prompted to avoid accidental removal.

Step 7: Preview the template
Switch to preview mode using the preview control so you can see how the complete template will appear when used in documents before finalising it.

Step 8: Save your changes
Select the save option to store your template; a new template is created if it did not exist before, or the existing one is updated, and you will see a confirmation message when the save completes.

Step 9: Cancel and discard changes
If you decide not to keep your edits, use the cancel or close option; if there are unsaved changes, confirm in the discard dialog to leave without saving.
