Manage your notification preferences

Configure which notifications you receive by email or in-app, control category-level alerts, and manage digest frequency and quiet hours.

Steps

Step 1: Open notification settings

Navigate to the Notification Settings area from your application’s settings menu to view all available notification options, including global preferences, channels, and digests.

Step 2: Use the master notification switch

Locate the master notification switch at the top of the page and toggle it on or off to globally enable or disable all notifications for your account.

Step 3: Switch between email and in-app notification tabs

Use the Email and In-app tabs to choose which channel you want to configure; selecting a tab shows all categories and types specific to that channel.

Step 4: Enable or disable notification categories

For each notification category (identified by its icon and title), toggle the category switch to turn all notifications in that category on or off for the selected channel.

Step 5: Fine-tune individual notification types

Within a category, use the individual switches for each notification type to choose exactly which events should trigger notifications, while keeping the category itself enabled.

Step 6: Choose your digest frequency

In the digest section, select whether you want no digest, a daily digest, or a weekly digest so that related notifications are grouped into summary emails instead of individual messages.

Step 7: Configure quiet hours for digests

If quiet hours are available, switch quiet hours on and set the start and end times to control when digest emails should not be sent, helping you avoid out-of-hours interruptions.

Step 8: Save your digest and notification settings

Select the save option to apply your digest and notification preference changes; a loading indicator may appear while the system updates your settings in the background.

Step 9: Send a test digest

Use the Send Test Digest action to trigger a sample digest based on your current preferences, allowing you to confirm how the digest email will look and when it will arrive.

Step 10: Refresh notification settings

If you suspect your settings are out of date, use the refresh option to reload the latest notification categories and preferences from the server.
