Manage projects and project settings

Use the Project Settings area to browse, search and create projects, and access team and configuration options.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Project Settings area

From the main navigation, go to the Project Settings section to see your list of projects and available actions.

Step 2: Search for a project by name

Use the search box above the project list to type part of a project name and instantly filter the visible projects.

Step 3: Filter projects by phase

Use the phase filter control to show only projects in a specific phase, or select the option to view all phases again.

Step 4: Sort the project list

Use the sort menu to order projects by criteria such as name or date, adjusting the list to match your review needs.

Step 5: Open settings for a specific project

From a project row, use the more options menu to open detailed settings for that project, including configuration and status.

Step 6: Manage the project team

In the project options, select the team management action to open the Project Team Settings view and adjust members and roles.

Step 7: Start creating a new project

Select the create project button to open the new project dialog and begin entering the project’s basic details.

Step 8: Choose defaults or guided setup for a new project

In the new project dialog, select from available project defaults or enable guided setup to preconfigure templates and reports.

Step 9: Review pending guided projects

If you have pending guided projects, review the summary of required fields, templates and reports before finalising creation.

Step 10: Create the project and navigate to it

Confirm the creation options; the system creates the project and takes you to its workspace so you can begin working immediately.
