Configure CDE sync mode

Choose how your connected CDE synchronises documents into PlanOps, including how much history to import and when new data appears.

Steps

Step 1: Review available sync modes

Open the sync settings step of the CDE connection wizard and review the list of available sync modes, including what each mode does and how it handles document history.

Step 2: Compare sync behaviour and volume impact

For each mode, read the detailed behaviour description and check the estimated information units (IU) usage against your organisation’s remaining IU balance to understand the impact of your choice.

Step 3: Select the appropriate sync mode

Click the card for the sync mode that best fits your project needs, such as syncing everything for full history or limiting to current or new documents to reduce data volume.

Step 4: Handle IU limit warnings and overrides

If the estimated IU usage for the heaviest mode exceeds your remaining balance, review the warning shown, and if you are an organisation admin either enable the override or choose a lighter sync mode instead.

Step 5: Confirm and continue

When you are happy with your selection, confirm the chosen sync mode to move to the next step of the connection setup, or go back if you need to adjust earlier settings.
