Configure Autodesk CDE project connection

Connect your project to an Autodesk hub, project and folder so documents can be exchanged with your CDE.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open CDE connection settings​

Navigate to the CDE connection settings for your project to begin configuring an Autodesk connection.

Step 2: Choose the Autodesk hub​

In the Autodesk connection panel, select the relevant Autodesk hub (enterprise) that contains your project.

Step 3: Select the Autodesk project​

From the chosen hub, pick the Autodesk project that matches your current project so identifiers and names are stored correctly.

Step 4: Pick the target folder​

Browse the Autodesk project structure and select the drawings or document folder you want to connect to this project.

Step 5: Review saved Autodesk details​

Confirm that the hub, project and folder IDs and names are displayed correctly in the connection summary, ensuring the right CDE location is linked.
