Manage project navigation sections

Configure which management areas appear in a project’s sidebar and adjust their order.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the Project navigation settings​

Navigate to the project’s Settings area and open the section labelled "Project navigation" to view the list of available management areas.

Step 2: Review available management areas​

Scroll through the list of management areas to see which sections are currently enabled or disabled for this project, including any that are locked or feature-gated.

Step 3: Enable or disable navigation areas​

Use the toggles or controls beside each area to turn sections on or off; enabled areas will appear in the project sidebar, while disabled ones will be hidden.

Step 4: Reorder navigation items​

Drag and drop rows using the grip icon to rearrange the order of enabled sections; the updated order will be reflected in the project sidebar navigation.

Step 5: Review warnings and gated sections​

Check for any warning messages and information icons indicating sections that are locked or gated by feature flags, so you understand which areas you can change.

Step 6: Save your navigation changes​

Select the Save button to apply your configuration; once saving completes successfully, the sidebar navigation for the project is updated for all users.
