Manage IU usage, costs and budget alerts

Use the IU usage settings to review quota, track costs, analyse projects and employees, and manage budget alerts.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open IU usage settings

Navigate to "Settings" then "Billing & plans" and open the IU usage section to see usage, costs and alerts for your organisation.

Step 2: Review your IU quota and current usage

Check the quota overview card to see your current IU allowance, how much has been used, and whether you are close to your threshold.

Step 3: Change the usage period

Use the usage period selector to switch between presets such as this month, last month or a custom date range so that all usage and cost figures update for that period.

Step 4: Filter usage by team, user or project

Apply filters in the usage filters panel to focus on specific teams, individual employees, projects or other attributes and see only the relevant usage data.

Step 5: Analyse overall cost and IU usage breakdown

Review the IU usage breakdown cards and charts to understand total IU consumption, associated costs and trends for the selected period.

Step 6: Drill down into project analytics

Open the projects tab or section to see project-level analytics, including IU usage, costs and performance metrics for each project.

Step 7: Review employee-level IU usage

Open the employees or users tab to see a list of team members with their grouped usage, costs and contributions to overall IU consumption.

Step 8: Expand detailed usage breakdowns

Use expandable breakdown rows to view detailed usage records, child items or grouped entries for a specific project, user or cost category.

Step 9: Refresh usage and analytics data

Select the refresh option to update quota status, usage breakdown and analytics with the latest data from your organisation.

Step 10: Export IU usage data

Use the export usage option to download a spreadsheet of IU usage data for the current tab and filters, so you can share or analyse it further.

Step 11: Configure or toggle budget alerts

Adjust or toggle budget alert thresholds so that alerts are sent when IU usage or costs approach the configured limits.

Step 12: Top up IU quota when required

Use the top-up action to purchase or request additional IU quota if you are close to or over your current allowance.
