Manage project upload processing settings
Configure how this project handles new uploads, including whether they go to a pending queue, are automatically processed, and are compared against previous uploads.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the project settings panel
From the project area, open the settings for the specific project so that the Individual Project Settings panel is displayed, showing the project name and current configuration.

Step 2: Review the project information and loading state
Wait for the settings to load; if there is a loading spinner or an error message, review any error shown and confirm you are viewing the correct project before making changes.

Step 3: Configure uploads to go to the pending queue
Use the switch labelled “Send uploads to pending” (or similar) to choose whether all new uploads for this project should first appear in the pending list instead of being processed immediately.

Step 4: Enable or disable automatic upload processing
Use the switch controlling “Process uploads” to decide whether uploads for this project are automatically processed by the system as they arrive, or left unprocessed for manual handling.

Step 5: Enable or disable upload comparison
Use the switch for “Compare uploads” to turn on or off automatic comparison of new uploads against previous ones for this project, helping you track changes between versions.

Step 6: Review any cost or usage indicators
Check the IU cost badge and any other indicators on the panel to understand potential resource or cost implications of the processing and comparison options you have selected.

Step 7: Save your project settings
Select the Save or equivalent button to apply your changes; wait for the saving indicator to complete and confirm that no error message appears.

Step 8: Return to the previous view
Use the Back button or icon to leave the Individual Project Settings panel and return to the project overview or previous screen.
