Manage lifecycle configurations
Configure and review system and customised lifecycle configurations for your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open lifecycle settings
In the admin area, navigate to the lifecycle settings section for your selected project to view all available configurations.
Step 2: Review system lifecycle configurations
Scroll through the system configurations list to see locked default lifecycles, including their names, colour indicators, number of stages, and status badges such as "System" or "Inactive".
Step 3: Identify customised lifecycle configurations
Look for configurations marked with the "Customized" badge to quickly spot lifecycles that override the system defaults for this project.
Step 4: Open a lifecycle configuration for editing
Select a lifecycle configuration card to open it in the lifecycle editor, where you can adjust stages, colours, and other details.
Step 5: Reset a customised configuration to the system default
For any configuration marked as "Customized", choose the reset option and confirm in the dialog to remove the override and revert to the underlying system lifecycle.
Step 6: Confirm configuration status and details
After changes, verify each card shows the correct badges, stage count, and code pattern (e.g. CODE-xxx) to ensure the right lifecycle will be applied.
