Manage lifecycle configurations

Configure and review system and customised lifecycle configurations for your project.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the lifecycle settings area

Navigate to the lifecycle settings section for your selected project to view all available lifecycle configurations.

Step 2: Review system and customised configurations

Scan the list of lifecycle cards to see which configurations are System, which are marked as Customized, and whether they are Active or Inactive.

Step 3: Check lifecycle details

For each configuration card, review the name, number of stages, colour indicator and code pattern (e.g. CODE-xxx) to understand how it is applied.

Step 4: Open a lifecycle configuration for editing

Select a lifecycle configuration card to open it in the lifecycle editor and adjust stages or other settings as required.

Step 5: Identify configurations that can be reset

Locate configurations labelled as Customized to find overrides that can be reset back to their original system defaults.

Step 6: Confirm reset to default

Use the reset action on a customised configuration, review the confirmation dialogue, and confirm to remove the override and restore the system default.
