Manage lifecycle configurations
View and manage system and custom lifecycle configurations for a project, including reviewing their details and resetting customised configurations back to their system defaults.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the lifecycle settings area
In the application, navigate to the settings section for your selected project and open the Lifecycle Settings panel to see all available lifecycle configurations.

Step 2: Review available lifecycle configurations
In the Lifecycle Settings list, review each configuration card, including its name, colour, number of stages, code, and status badges indicating whether it is a System, Customised, or Inactive configuration.

Step 3: Identify customised lifecycle configurations
Look for configurations marked with the "Customized" badge to find system lifecycles that have been overridden for this project and may be reset to their default settings.

Step 4: Start resetting a customised configuration to default
On a configuration marked as "Customized", use the available reset control (for example, a button or action menu linked to the RotateCcw icon) to begin restoring the lifecycle to its original system defaults.

Step 5: Confirm resetting to default
When the confirmation message appears asking if you are sure you want to reset the selected configuration and remove all customisations, review the warning and confirm to proceed with the reset.

Step 6: Wait for the reset to complete
After confirming, wait while the application removes the customised override; the configuration will revert to the system default and the "Customized" badge will no longer be shown.
