Add a widget to your dashboard

Use the widget library to find, filter, and add standard or custom widgets to your dashboard.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the widget library

Click the control to add a new widget on your dashboard. The Widget Library dialog opens, showing available widgets organised into category tabs.

Step 2: Filter widgets by category

Use the category tabs (such as Programme, Documents, AI insights or Custom) to narrow down widgets to a specific type of information.

Step 3: Search for a widget

Use the search box at the top of the dialog to type part of a widget name or description and filter the list to matching widgets.

Step 4: Review widget details

Browse the widget cards, noting each widget's name, icon and description so you can choose the one that best fits your reporting needs.

Step 5: Add a standard widget

Select the widget you want by clicking its card. The widget is added to your dashboard at the current level and appears in the layout.

Step 6: Start building a custom widget

Go to the Custom category and click the "Build a custom widget" card to create a widget based on register data, filters, summaries and charts or tables.

Step 7: Close the widget library

When you have finished adding widgets, close the dialog to return to the dashboard and continue arranging or configuring your widgets.
