View and interpret custom register data

Use the Custom Register widget to visualise register data as a chart and inspect the underlying rows.

Steps

Step 1: Open the dashboard containing the Custom Register widget

Navigate to the relevant dashboard and locate the Custom Register widget, identified by its register title and bar chart icon.

Step 2: Review the summary metric

At the top of the widget, review the main metric value, which aggregates the underlying register data (for example, total items or records).

Step 3: Analyse the chart buckets

Examine the bar or column chart to see how records are distributed across buckets such as statuses, categories, or other groupings.

Step 4: Inspect detailed rows

Scroll within the widget to view the tabular rows, allowing you to inspect individual items and their key fields from the register.

Step 5: Refresh the widget data

Use the refresh control on the widget toolbar to reload the latest register data from the source system.
