Analyse flow bottlenecks in your forward look
Use the Flow Bottlenecks widget to identify where work is piling up across stages, lifecycles and priorities in your forward look.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Flow Bottlenecks widget
Navigate to the forward look dashboard and locate the Flow Bottlenecks widget card, identified by its title and bottleneck icon.
Step 2: Review the overall flow summary
At the top of the widget, review the total number of items, including how many are overdue, due this week and currently unassigned.
Step 3: Identify bottlenecks by stage
Scroll through the stage section to see how items are distributed across stages, using the coloured bars to spot stages with unusually high counts.
Step 4: Compare lifecycles and priorities
Review the lifecycle and priority breakdowns to understand which phases and priority levels are experiencing the greatest congestion.
Step 5: Refresh the bottleneck data
Use the refresh control on the widget to reload the latest bottleneck data and ensure you are viewing up-to-date information.
