Add widgets to your dashboard from the widget library

Use the widget library to find, filter, and add widgets to your dashboard, including starting a custom widget or AI-generated layout.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the widget library

From your dashboard, select the option to add a new widget; the Widget library dialog opens, showing available widgets and categories.

Step 2: Search or browse by category

Use the search box or select a category tab to filter the list of widgets so you can quickly find the type you need.

Step 3: Review widget details

Hover over or select a widget card to see its name, description, and icon so you understand what information it will show on your dashboard.

Step 4: Add a standard widget

Click a widget card to add that widget type to your dashboard; the dialog closes and the widget appears in your layout.

Step 5: Build a custom widget

Choose the "Build a custom widget" option to start configuring a widget that uses register data, filters, and your choice of chart or table.

Step 6: Create with AI

If available, select the AI creation option to let the system suggest or configure widgets for you based on your project context.

Step 7: Close the widget library

When you have finished adding widgets, close the dialog to return to your dashboard and refine the layout as needed.
