View and understand the data shown by an individual dashboard widget, including how it updates.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the dashboard​

Navigate to the main dashboard where your widgets are displayed so you can review their current data.

Step 2: Locate the relevant widget​

Find the specific widget card you want to review, using its name and category to identify it.

Step 3: Review the widget contents​

Look at the list of items and other values displayed in the widget to understand the current data it is presenting.

Step 4: Refresh the widget data​

Use the widget's refresh or update control to reload its data and confirm you are seeing the most up-to-date information.

Step 5: Check project context​

Where shown, review the project name or context on the widget so you can see which project the data relates to.

Step 6: Add the widget to a report​

If available, select the "Add to report" option to include the widget's data and visualisation in a formal report.
