Use the Critical Path Summary widget to understand schedule float, critical activities, upcoming milestones and overall delivery risk.

Steps

Step 1: Open the programme dashboard

Navigate to the programme dashboard where the Critical Path Summary widget is displayed alongside other planning widgets.

Look at the risk status banner at the top of the widget to see whether the schedule is healthy, at risk or critical, along with a short explanation.

Review the total float value in days to understand how much schedule flexibility remains before impacting the project completion date.

Use the activities on critical path count to gauge how many tasks currently drive your project’s end date.

In the next critical milestone section, review the milestone name, planned date and remaining days to prepare for upcoming key deadlines.
