Review site safety metrics
Use the Safety Metrics widget to monitor incidents, near misses and leading safety indicators for your projects.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the dashboard containing the Safety Metrics widget
Navigate to the PlanOps dashboard page where the Safety Metrics widget has been added; the card loads your latest safety data or shows loading skeletons while data is retrieved.

Step 2: Check days since the last recordable incident
Look at the main highlighted figure at the top of the widget to see how many days have passed since the last safety incident, helping you assess recent performance at a glance.

Step 3: Review near miss reports for the current month
In the Near Misses section, confirm the total number of near miss reports submitted this month and note the trend indicator showing whether reports are increasing, decreasing or stable.

Step 4: Assess safety observations and their trend
In the Safety Observations area, review the total number of observations recorded and the associated trend icon to understand whether engagement is improving or declining.

Step 5: Monitor TRIR and LTIR performance
If configured, review the TRIR and LTIR values and their trend arrows to understand how your recordable and lost time incident rates are changing over time.

Step 6: Confirm safety meetings and last meeting date
Check the Safety Meetings section to see how many meetings have been held this month and the date of the most recent session, ensuring you remain compliant with meeting schedules.

Step 7: Refresh the widget to view the latest safety data
Select the Refresh button in the widget header to pull in the most up-to-date safety metrics; if there is an error, review the alert message displayed in the widget.
