Use the assistant to manage project tasks
Use the built-in assistant to ask questions, trigger task workflows, and review automated actions within your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the assistant panel
Select the assistant icon in the dashboard to open the chat panel alongside your project view. The panel shows any existing conversation for the current project.

Step 2: Start a conversation using quick actions
If there are no recent messages, choose one of the suggested quick actions such as "What tasks are due this week?" or "Create a new task" to populate the message box automatically.

Step 3: Ask a custom question
Type your own question or instruction into the message box at the bottom of the panel, then submit it to send a new message to the assistant.

Step 4: Attach extra information to your request
Where available, select the attachment button next to the message box to include supporting files or context with your request so the assistant can respond more accurately.

Step 5: Browse available task templates
Use the browse tasks button in the panel to open the task catalogue drawer and discover predefined workflows you can trigger directly from the conversation.

Step 6: Review the assistant's response
Read the assistant's reply in the message list, including any formatted content, links, or checklists it provides to guide your next steps.

Step 7: Complete task input forms
When the assistant needs more details to run a task, fill in the task input card fields shown in the panel and submit them so the assistant can continue processing.

Step 8: Approve or reject suggested actions
For each proposed automated action, use the approve or reject controls on the confirmation card to decide whether the assistant should proceed or cancel that specific action.

Step 9: Approve or cancel a whole batch of actions
When the assistant groups several related actions into a single batch, use the batch-level approve or reject options to confirm or cancel the entire set in one step.

Step 10: Copy links shared by the assistant
Use the copy link button next to any link provided by the assistant to copy it to your clipboard, then paste it into emails, documents, or other tools.

Step 11: Expand or collapse the assistant panel
Use the expand or collapse control to switch between a compact view and a maximised view of the assistant so you can focus on either the conversation or the main dashboard.
