Review the budget summary widget
Use the Budget Summary widget to quickly understand total budget, current spend, remaining funds, and overall financial health of your programme.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Locate the Budget Summary widget on the dashboard
On your PlanOps dashboard, scroll to the financial widgets area and find the card showing total budget, spent amount, remaining amount, and budget health indicators for your selected programme.

Step 2: Review total budget, spent, and remaining amounts
Look at the top figures in the widget to see your total approved budget, how much has been spent so far, and how much budget remains available in the project's working currency.

Step 3: Check budget health and variance
Use the health status indicator and icons to see whether the budget is on track, at risk, or over, and review the variance and variance percentage to understand how far you are from the planned spend.

Step 4: Compare forecast at completion
Review the forecast-at-completion value to see the projected final cost of the programme compared with the original total budget, helping you anticipate potential overruns.

Step 5: Refresh the budget data
Select the refresh button on the widget header to pull the latest financial data; a loading skeleton appears briefly while updated figures are retrieved.
