Track programme milestones

Use the Milestone Tracker widget to review key programme milestones, their target dates and current status in one place.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the Milestone Tracker widget​

Navigate to the dashboard and locate the Milestone Tracker widget card, identified by the milestone icon and milestone summary status.

Step 2: Review the overall widget status​

Check the widget header and status badge to quickly see the overall health of your programme milestones, such as whether most items are on track or at risk.

Step 3: Scan the list of milestones​

Scroll through the milestone list to see each milestone name, target date and coloured status indicator, grouped in a single view.

Step 4: Interpret milestone status indicators​

Use the coloured badges and icons to understand each milestone status at a glance, such as On Track, At Risk, Delayed or Completed.

Step 5: Read milestone details​

Select or hover over a milestone entry to read its full name and any additional description provided for extra context.

Step 6: Monitor approaching target dates​

Compare target dates across milestones to identify upcoming deadlines and focus attention on items that may soon become at risk or delayed.

Step 7: Use loading indicators while data is fetched​

When the widget first loads or is refreshed, watch the skeleton placeholders until they are replaced by the live milestone data.
