Steps
Step 1: Open the Temporary Works Items widget
From the compliance dashboard, locate the Temporary Works Items widget card to see a snapshot of all tracked temporary works, including counts by status, type, risk level, and category.

At the top of the widget, review the summary tiles showing the total number of items, how many are active, and how many have overdue inspections, helping you gauge overall compliance at a glance.

Step 3: Filter items using the chip controls
Use the filter chips (such as status, type, risk level, or design check category) to narrow down the list to the most relevant temporary works items for your review.

Step 4: Scan the list of temporary works items
Scroll through the item list to see each temporary works record with its reference, description, status, and key attributes such as risk level, design check category, and associated project.

Step 5: Check locations and key dates
For each item, review the location and important dates, including registered, design approved, erected, and next inspection due dates, to understand lifecycle progress.

Step 6: Identify overdue inspections
Look for items highlighted as overdue inspections to quickly identify where inspections are late and may require immediate action or escalation.

Step 7: Focus on specific projects
Use the project information displayed for each item to focus on temporary works associated with particular projects when coordinating with project teams.
