Customise the PlanOps dashboard with widgets

Configure and personalise the PlanOps dashboard by choosing the level, adjusting role variants and adding or arranging widgets.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the PlanOps dashboard​

Navigate to the PlanOps area of the application to load your dashboard view. If loading fails, you will see an error card with details and a "Try Again" button to retry.

Step 2: Switch between organisation and project dashboard levels​

Use the dashboard breadcrumbs or level controls to switch between organisation and project views when available, updating the context of all widgets shown.

Step 3: Change the role variant for your dashboard​

Use the toolbar role or variant selector to switch the dashboard to a different role variant so that the layout and widgets match the selected role.

Step 4: Browse the widget library​

Open the widget library dialog from the dashboard toolbar to review available widgets grouped by category, source and visualisation type.

Step 5: Add a new widget to the dashboard​

From the widget library, select a widget and use the add option to place it on the grid, where it will automatically use a default size and the next available position.

Step 6: Configure widget settings​

When prompted, or by opening a widget’s configuration, use the widget configuration panel to adjust options such as data source, chart type and visualisation preferences.

Step 7: Arrange and resize widgets on the grid​

Drag widgets to reposition them on the dashboard grid and adjust their size where supported, so the most important information is prominent.

Step 8: Duplicate existing widgets​

Use the duplicate widget option from a widget’s actions menu to quickly create a copy with the same configuration that you can then reposition or adjust.

Step 9: Add more widgets from the grid​

Use any "Add widget" buttons or empty-state prompts within the grid to open the widget library and continue enriching your dashboard.

Step 10: Retry loading if an error occurs​

If the dashboard fails to load and shows an error message, select "Try Again" on the error card to attempt to reload your dashboard data.
