Configure your dashboard layout

Use the dashboard toolbar to edit layouts, manage presets, switch role variants and reset or save changes to your dashboard.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the dashboard toolbar

Navigate to your dashboard; the toolbar appears at the top with controls for editing, presets, role variants and more.

Step 2: Enter edit mode

Select the Edit button (pencil icon) to switch the dashboard into edit mode so you can rearrange or remove widgets.

Step 3: Add new widgets

Click the Add widget button (plus icon) to open the widget picker and place additional widgets on your dashboard grid.

Step 4: Manage hidden widgets

Use the hidden widgets control (eye-off icon) to review any widgets that are currently hidden and choose which to show again.

Step 5: Apply or manage layout presets

Open the Layout presets menu (layout icon) to apply a saved dashboard arrangement or manage existing presets.

Step 6: Select a role variant

Use the Role variant selector to view or configure dashboard layouts tailored to specific roles or audiences.

Step 7: Review inheritance and navigation

Use the inheritance indicator and page switcher to see how the current layout is inherited across organisation, project or other levels, and switch between levels if available.

Step 8: Save changes and exit edit mode

When you are satisfied with the layout, click the Save button (disk icon) to save your changes and leave edit mode.

Step 9: Reset layout when needed

If allowed, use the Reset button (rotate icon) to revert the dashboard layout back to its inherited or default configuration.
