Review and manage my tasks
Use the My Tasks widget to review your assigned tasks, check due dates and priorities, and update task statuses directly from the dashboard.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the My Tasks widget
On your dashboard, locate the My Tasks widget card which shows your task count, key status indicators, and a summary of upcoming and overdue work.

Step 2: Review task summary indicators
At the top of the widget, review the summary strip showing total tasks, overdue items, and those due today or this week to understand your immediate workload.

Step 3: Switch grouping by project
Use the Group by project toggle in the widget header to switch between a flat list of tasks and a view grouped under each project.

Step 4: Inspect project sections
When grouped by project, expand each project header to see only the tasks for that project, including counts, statuses, and due information.

Step 5: Scan task details
For each task row, review the title, current status badge, priority label, and due date indicator, including any overdue highlighting or days remaining.

Step 6: Filter tasks visually by status and priority
Use the status icons and priority tags in the list to quickly identify which tasks are pending, in progress, awaiting review, or closed, and which are high or urgent priority.

Step 7: Update a task status
In a task row, use the status control or action button (such as starting, marking in review, or closing) to update the task status and immediately reflect the change in the widget.

Step 8: Open task or project details
Select the view or open icons on a task or its project header to navigate to the full task or project detail page for deeper information and actions.

Step 9: Refresh the task list
Click the refresh icon in the widget header to reload the latest task data from the server, ensuring your list and summaries are up to date.

Step 10: Handle loading and error states
If the widget shows a loading skeleton, wait for data to finish loading, and if an error alert appears, use the retry or refresh option to attempt loading your tasks again.
