Manage your dashboard layout
Use the dashboard toolbar to switch pages, enter edit mode, add or hide widgets, apply presets and save or reset your dashboard layout.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the dashboard toolbar
At the top of your dashboard, locate the toolbar that shows the page switcher, inheritance indicator, role variant selector and editing controls.
Step 2: Switch between dashboard pages
Use the dashboard page switcher to move between different dashboard pages so you can view or edit the page you want to adjust.
Step 3: Review inheritance and role variants
Check the inheritance indicator to see which level your current layout comes from, and use the role variant selector to choose the role-specific version of the dashboard you wish to work with.
Step 4: Enter edit mode
Click the Edit button to enter edit mode, which unlocks layout changes such as adding, moving or resizing widgets on the current dashboard page.
Step 5: Add new widgets to the layout
While in edit mode, select the Add widget button to open the widget picker and place new widgets onto your dashboard grid.
Step 6: Manage hidden widgets
Open the hidden widgets option to review any widgets that are currently hidden and choose which ones to restore to your visible layout.
Step 7: Apply layout presets
Use the layout presets option to load a saved arrangement of widgets, helping you quickly apply a previously defined layout to the current dashboard.
Step 8: Save your layout and exit edit mode
When you are happy with your changes, choose the save and exit option to store your layout updates and leave edit mode.
Step 9: Reset or cancel edits if needed
If you change your mind, use the reset or cancel controls to discard unsaved edits and return to the last saved dashboard layout.
Step 10: Create a new dashboard page with AI
If available, select the AI drafting option to generate a new dashboard page layout automatically based on your project needs.
