Step 1: Open the dashboard toolbar
At the top of your dashboard, locate the toolbar which shows the current dashboard level, page switcher, role variant selector, and edit controls.

Step 3: Select a role variant
Open the role variant selector and choose the role or variant you want to configure so that the layout matches the needs of that audience.

Step 4: Enter edit mode
Click the Edit button to enable edit mode, allowing you to rearrange widgets and adjust the dashboard layout.

Step 5: Add widgets to the dashboard
Select the Add widget button to insert new widgets into the current dashboard layout, then position them as required.

Step 6: Manage layout presets
Open the layout presets menu to save the current layout as a preset, or apply an existing preset to quickly reconfigure the dashboard.

Step 7: Show or restore hidden widgets
Use the hidden widgets option to review any widgets that have been hidden and choose whether to display them again.

Step 8: Save your layout and exit edit mode
When you are happy with the changes, use the save and exit option so that your layout updates are stored and edit mode is turned off.
