Manage dashboard layout and presets

Use the dashboard toolbar to switch pages, enter edit mode, manage layout presets, and reset or save your dashboard layout.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the dashboard toolbar

At the top of your dashboard, locate the toolbar which shows the current dashboard level, page switcher, role variant selector, and edit controls.

Step 2: Switch between dashboard pages

Use the page switcher to move between different dashboard pages so you can review or adjust layouts for each page separately.

Step 3: Select a role variant

Open the role variant selector and choose the role or variant you want to configure so that the layout matches the needs of that audience.

Step 4: Enter edit mode

Click the Edit button to enable edit mode, allowing you to rearrange widgets and adjust the dashboard layout.

Step 5: Add widgets to the dashboard

Select the Add widget button to insert new widgets into the current dashboard layout, then position them as required.

Step 6: Manage layout presets

Open the layout presets menu to save the current layout as a preset, or apply an existing preset to quickly reconfigure the dashboard.

Step 7: Show or restore hidden widgets

Use the hidden widgets option to review any widgets that have been hidden and choose whether to display them again.

Step 8: Save your layout and exit edit mode

When you are happy with the changes, use the save and exit option so that your layout updates are stored and edit mode is turned off.

Step 9: Reset the layout if needed

If the layout becomes cluttered or confusing, use the reset option to restore the dashboard layout to its default configuration.
