Review overdue items in the Forward Look dashboard

Use the Overdue Items widget to review, prioritise and group overdue tasks across your projects so you can address delays promptly.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Overdue Items widget

On the Forward Look dashboard, locate the Overdue Items widget by its title and red overdue count in the summary strip.

Step 2: Review the total number of overdue tasks

Check the top summary strip to see the total number of overdue items and how they break down by status.

Step 3: Scan the list of overdue tasks

Scroll through the task list to see each overdue item, including its title, project, status, and priority chip.

Step 4: Check how overdue each task is

Use the coloured overdue labels beside each task to see how many days overdue it is and gauge urgency.

Step 5: Group overdue items by project

If available on your dashboard, use the Group by project toggle to switch between a flat list and project-based grouping of overdue tasks.

Step 6: Review overdue tasks within each project

When grouped by project, expand each project section to see all its overdue tasks and compare project-level risk.

Step 7: Confirm when there are no overdue items

When all tasks are on track, the widget shows a "No overdue items" message so you can quickly confirm there are no outstanding delays.
