View upcoming submissions in the Forward Look dashboard
Review upcoming lifecycle submissions, spot overdue work, and understand workload across projects.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Upcoming Submissions widget
On the Forward Look dashboard, locate the "Upcoming submissions" card to see a summary of items that are due soon or overdue.

Step 2: Review the overall submission summary
At the top of the widget, review the total number of items, how many are overdue, due this week, and unassigned to understand your immediate workload.

Step 3: Scan the list of upcoming items
Scroll through the list of lifecycle items to see each submission's reference, title, lifecycle, current stage, assignee, and due date, including any overdue indicators.

Step 4: Identify priorities and at-risk submissions
Use the priority indicators and overdue flags in the list to quickly spot urgent or high-priority items that may need escalation or reallocation.

Step 5: Group items by project
Use the "Group by project" toggle to switch the view so that upcoming submissions are organised under each project header, helping you understand workload by project.

Step 6: Inspect project-specific upcoming work
When grouped by project, expand each project section to review the submissions, stages, owners, and due dates relevant to that specific project.

Step 7: Refresh the widget data
Select the refresh control on the widget header to reload the latest data and ensure you are working from the most up-to-date submission list.

Step 8: Understand empty or error states
If no upcoming submissions are available, review the empty state message, or if an error appears, use the alert to understand that data could not be loaded and may need attention.
