View site weather conditions and work suitability

Use the Site Weather widget to check current weather, short-term forecast, and work suitability for key construction activities on your project.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the dashboard with the Site Weather widget

Navigate to the PlanOps dashboard page that includes the Site Weather widget; the card will load and briefly show a loading state while it retrieves the latest weather data for your project location.

Step 2: Review current weather for your site

Look at the main section of the widget to see the current temperature, feels-like temperature, weather condition, humidity, wind speed and direction, and precipitation level for the selected site location.

Step 3: Check short-term weather forecast

Scroll or scan across the forecast area in the widget to review upcoming days, including expected high and low temperatures and weather conditions for each day, using the icons and labels to quickly judge conditions.

Step 4: Assess work suitability for key activities

Use the work suitability indicators within the widget to see whether crane operations, concrete pours, roofing, and excavation are currently suitable, noting the clear pass or warning icons for each activity.

Step 5: Refresh the weather data

Select the refresh button on the widget (often shown with a circular arrow icon) to request the latest weather and suitability data if conditions have changed since the card was first loaded.
