Search and run assistant tasks

Use the homepage search panel to quickly find and run assistant tasks across the app, your organisation, or the current project.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

On the homepage, click into the assistant search bar to expand the panel and activate task search.

Step 2: Enter a keyword to find relevant tasks​

Start typing what you want to do; matching tasks are listed instantly, grouped by scope such as app-wide, your org, or this project.

Step 3: Review task details and scope​

Look at each matching task’s name, description, and scope badge to confirm whether it applies to the whole app, your organisation, or just the current project.

Step 4: Navigate results with keyboard or mouse​

Use the up and down arrow keys or your mouse to move through the list of results; the currently highlighted task is ready to run.

Step 5: Run the selected assistant task​

Press Enter on the highlighted task or click the play button to run it with the selected assistant; you are taken to the task’s run view.

Step 6: Clear your search or close the panel​

Click the X icon or clear the text in the search box to reset your search; click outside the panel to close it when you are finished.
