Choose and apply filters using chips and saved views
Use the filter chip bar to switch between preset filters and saved views so you can quickly focus on the most relevant items.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Identify the filter chip bar
Locate the row of pill-shaped filter chips at the top of the list or board, labelled with an accessible group name that explains what is being filtered.

Step 2: Review available preset filters
Scan the preset chips to see the available filter options, each showing a clear noun label and, where available, a count of matching items beside the label.

Step 3: Select a preset filter
Click a preset chip to make it active; the chip will change appearance to stand out, and the list or board updates to show only items that match that filter.

Step 4: Switch between filters
Move between chips to compare different filtered views; if the bar is configured as tabs, you can also use the arrow keys to move focus and Enter or Space to select.

Step 5: Use saved views when available
If saved views are configured, find them after the divider; these appear as dashed, differently coloured chips that you can select to apply a stored combination of filters.

Step 6: Confirm the active filter or view
Check which chip is highlighted as active so you always know which filter or saved view is currently shaping the items you see.
