Navigate content using a scrollable tab bar

Use the scrollable tab bar to move between multiple content sections when there are more tabs than fit on screen.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Identify and review available tabs

Locate the horizontal tab bar at the top of the detail view and scan the tab labels and icons to understand which sections are available.

Step 2: Select a tab with the mouse

Click a tab label in the bar to switch to that section; the active tab is underlined and its content panel is displayed immediately below.

Step 3: Reveal hidden tabs using scroll controls

When not all tabs fit on screen, use the left and right chevron buttons at the bar edges to scroll and reveal additional tabs.

Step 4: Navigate tabs with the keyboard

Place focus on the tab bar, then use the Left and Right Arrow keys to move between tabs, or Home and End to jump to the first or last tab.

Step 5: Confirm the active tab remains visible

As you change tabs, watch the bar automatically adjust so the selected tab is fully visible within the viewport.
