Confirm a destructive action

Use the confirmation dialog to safely approve or cancel destructive actions such as deleting a package.

Steps

Step 1: Review the confirmation dialog

When you trigger a destructive action, a confirmation dialog opens showing a clear title, description and two buttons so you can review what will be deleted before proceeding.

Step 2: Decide whether to proceed or cancel

Choose Delete package to confirm the action or Cancel to abandon it; the dialog then closes and the system either performs or skips the destructive change.

Step 3: Handle any errors and retry

If the delete fails, an error message appears inside the dialog and the Delete package button becomes available again so you can retry in a single click.
