Use status chips to see a clear, consistent, user-friendly status for each record across lists and detail pages.

Steps

Step 1: Locate the status chip for a record

Open a list or detail view and find the coloured status chip next to the record to see its current user-friendly status label, such as "In progress".

When available, review the smaller secondary text on the chip, which may show a more specific domain term such as "Changes requested" to clarify why attention is needed.

Open the record from the list into its detail view and verify that the same user-facing status wording is shown in both places, ensuring you are acting on the correct state.
