Manage billing, licences, and IU usage

Review your organisation’s billing status, licences, IU usage, and invoices, and access the Stripe billing portal for subscription management.

Steps

Step 1: Open the billing dashboard

Navigate to the billing dashboard to see an overview of your current subscription, licence status, IU usage, and recent invoices in one place.

Step 2: Review licence type and status

At the top of the dashboard, check the licence badges to confirm your current licence type and whether your subscription is active, trialling, or requires attention.

Step 3: Check IU usage and quota

Use the IU usage cards to review how many Insight Units (IU) you have used, how many remain in your quota, and whether you are approaching any limits.

Step 4: Adjust IU usage settings

Open the IU usage settings panel to configure any project or organisation-level IU usage preferences, such as thresholds for alerts or allocation behaviour.

Step 5: Top up IU from Stripe checkout

If you need more IU, follow the "Top Up" or "Purchase More IU" call to action, complete the Stripe checkout, and return to this dashboard where usage and quota data will refresh automatically.

Step 6: Manage subscription in the billing portal

Select the option that opens the Stripe billing portal to update payment methods, change plans, view detailed billing information, or cancel your subscription as needed.

Step 7: Review invoices and payment status

Scroll to the invoices table to see your recent invoices, including dates, amounts, and payment status badges, and open invoice details in the billing portal if required.

Step 8: Confirm successful changes or handle cancellations

After returning from Stripe, check the success or cancellation messages shown at the top of the dashboard to confirm whether your payment, top-up, or subscription update completed successfully.
