Monitor IU usage and purchase top-ups
Use the IU usage card to track your organisation’s current IU balance and quickly purchase additional IU when levels are running low.

Steps
Step 1: Review your current IU balance
On the billing or usage area, locate the IU usage card to see your remaining IU displayed prominently, alongside your total available IU allowance so you can quickly understand how much capacity you have left.

Step 2: Check detailed IU usage status
Look at the progress bar and status colours on the card to understand how much of your IU quota has been used, whether your usage is within a healthy range, running low, or fully exhausted, helping you decide if a top-up is required.

Step 3: Identify low or exhausted IU conditions
When IU levels are low or exhausted, notice the warning styling on the card (including alert colours and icons) that highlights the risk of interruption, prompting you to act before usage impacts your projects.

Step 4: Open IU top-up options
If the top-up option is shown, select the top-up control on the IU usage card to reveal the available IU top-up products and choose the amount that best fits your expected usage.

Step 5: Confirm and start IU top-up checkout
Choose your preferred top-up product from the list and confirm the action, which starts the top-up checkout process so you can complete payment and increase your IU capacity.

Step 6: Verify updated IU availability
After completing the top-up checkout, return to the IU usage card to confirm that your total available IU and remaining IU values have increased, ensuring your projects can continue without interruption.
