Understand lifecycle badges in the interface

Learn how early access and deprecated badges appear in the product so you can interpret the status of sections and features correctly.

Steps

Step 1: Identify early access sections

Look for the "Early access" pill-shaped badge with a flask icon next to section titles or features; this indicates functionality that is still being refined and may change.

Step 2: Identify deprecated sections

Look for the "Deprecated" pill-shaped badge with an archive icon; this signals areas that are being wound down and may be removed in future.

Step 3: View more detail in the tooltip

Hover your cursor over the badge (or focus it using the keyboard) to display a tooltip explaining why the section is in early access or deprecated and how stable you should expect it to be.
